FREE 2019-20 Masterfit Buyer’s Guide Available Online

December 2019 – The 2019-20 updated Masterfit Buyer’s Guide to Ski Gear is now available for FREE viewing and download. This first-of-its-kind digital magazine is packed with insider background information from seasoned gear pros who have been testing products for years.

A joint venture of Masterfit/America’s Best Bootfitters and Jackson Hogen’s Realskiers.com, the Masterfit Buyer’s Guide to Ski Gear uses an e-book interface to communicate to today’s skiers with immediacy and portability.

“The Masterfit Buyer’s Guide is ALWAYS with skiers, as long as they have a smartphone,” said Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Steve Cohen, president and co-founder of Masterfit University and former executive editor of SKI magazine.

For their reviews, Cohen and former SKI magazine chief boot fitter Jeff Rich have put together a team of ski and boot experts who spend hours on the slopes testing product and analyzing the results. Their methodology is explained in the Guide.

The Guide consist of 100 pages of tests and reviews of 125 + skis and boots in a variety of categories including All Mountain, Freeride and Backcountry skis and boots for men and women. The Guide also features numerous articles and tips on kids’ gear, choosing the right poles, selecting bindings, boot bag essentials, what to look for in a boot fitter, keeping gear in good shape, getting fit for the ski season and what beginners need to know.

As the executive editor of the Masterfit Buyer’s Guide, long-time industry journalist/analyst Jackson Hogan (Realskiers.com) adds his expertise to provide product intelligence based on years of research and writing. A variety of snow sports journalists also have contributed to the material contained in the Guide.

“Our goal is to provide the best information available for skiers so that they can make informed decisions about what products are best for their particular needs,” said Cohen,

“We are relentless in our pursuit of practical and technical advice that will make a skier’s day the most enjoyable that it can be – and more.” added Rich. “Our team is second to none.”

Managing Editor Iseult Devlin pulled together the comprehensive body of content for this unique FREE resource that targets skiers of all ability levels as well as shop personnel. Devlin is past president of the North American Snowsports Association (NASJA).
